It is important to us here at Ockham Parish Council to keep the local people updated, whether this be about recent road closures, or upcoming events. We will be posting regular updates to ensure that our community is always up to speed with what is going on our village.

Councils of a certain size must publicise their financial documents for public view in order to adhere to the Local Government Transparency Code 2015. This is aimed at making it easier for local people to contribute to local decision making and increase our democratic accountability.
Ockham Parish lies northeast of Guildford, near the villages of Ripley, Horsley and Wisley. The historic Village of Ockham appears in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Bocheham. Today it has around 160 households set in some beautiful countryside with access to Wisley Heath and the Commons whilst being accessible from the M25 and the A3.

The Parish Council normally meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 8pm. The Parish Meetings will be held at All Saint’s Church, Guileshill Lane, Ockham GU23 6NL.
Our next council meeting is on: Tuesday 10th June, 2025Coronavirus restrictions were lifted by the Government on July 19th 2021. However, it is still absolutely essential that we all remain conscious of our actions, to keep us all safe.
